     Dr. Alfred Henry Valentine St. John was born on 14 February 1883.¹ He was the son of Charles Louis St. John and Aglaé de Jora.¹ He married, firstly, Catherine Ciolaco, daughter of John Ciolaco, on 8 March 1907.¹ He and Catherine Ciolaco were divorced.¹ He married, secondly, Adolfina Sofia Engber, daughter of Wilhelm Engber and Sofia Ludovica Wegrowski, on 3 August 1923 at Tirgu Mures, Romania.² He died on 9 October 1964 at age 81.² He was buried at Weed, California, U.S.A.²
     He was a surgeon.² He was naturalized as a U.S. citizen in 1931.² He and Adolfina Sofia Engber emigrated to U.S.A. arriving on 1931.² He lived in 1941 at British Columbia, Canada.²

     Catherine Ciolaco is the daughter of John Ciolaco.¹ She married Dr. Alfred Henry Valentine St. John, son of Charles Louis St. John and Aglaé de Jora, on 8 March 1907.¹ She and Dr. Alfred Henry Valentine St. John were divorced.¹

     Sir Frederic Robert St. John was born on 2 March 1831.¹ He was the son of Hon. Ferdinand St. John and Selina Charlotte Keatinge.¹ He married Isabella Annie FitzMaurice, daughter of Captain Hon. James Terence FitzMaurice and Frances Rhoda Ouseley, on 18 April 1882.¹ He died on 27 February 1923 at age 91.¹
     He was in the Diplomatic Service in 1855.¹ He held the office of Secretary to the Embassy at Constantinople between 1879 and 1881.¹ He held the office of Minister Resident to Central America in 1881.¹ He held the office of Minister Resident to Colombia in 1884.¹ He held the office of Minister Resident to Venezuela between 1884 and 1888.¹ He held the office of Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to Serbia between 1888 and 1890.¹ He held the office of Consul-General to Serbia between 1890 and 1892.¹ He held the office of Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to Switzerland between 1893 and 1901.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1901.¹

     Isabella Annie FitzMaurice was the daughter of Captain Hon. James Terence FitzMaurice and Frances Rhoda Ouseley.^1,2 She married Sir Frederic Robert St. John, son of Hon. Ferdinand St. John and Selina Charlotte Keatinge, on 18 April 1882.¹ She died on 29 February 1948.¹
     From 18 April 1882, her married name became St. John.¹

     Lt.-Col. Frederick Oliver St. John was born on 13 October 1886.¹ He was the son of Sir Frederic Robert St. John and Isabella Annie FitzMaurice.¹ He married, firstly, Dotie Burney, daughter of Sydney Bernard Burney, on 8 January 1923.¹ He and Dotie Burney were divorced in 1929.² He married, secondly, Elizabeth Pierce, daughter of E. H. Pierce, on 11 November 1931.¹ He died on 10 February 1977 at age 90.¹
     Lt.-Col. Frederick Oliver St. John usually went by his middle name of Oliver.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1914 in the Royal Signals, 1st Battalion, Royal Scouts.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹

     Dotie Burney is the daughter of Sydney Bernard Burney.¹ She married Captain Cyril Bruce Seagrim. She married Lt.-Col. Frederick Oliver St. John, son of Sir Frederic Robert St. John and Isabella Annie FitzMaurice, on 8 January 1923.¹ She and Lt.-Col. Frederick Oliver St. John were divorced in 1929.²
     Her married name became Seagrim. From 8 January 1923, her married name became St. John.¹
