     He gained the rank of Major in the 92nd Regiment.¹ He fought in the Crimean War.¹ He fought in the Indian Mutiny.¹

     Margaret Warren was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Charles Warren.¹ She married Major John Henry St. John, son of Hon. Ferdinand St. John and Selina Charlotte Keatinge, on 6 April 1854.¹ She died on 29 February 1912.¹

     Henry Warren St. John was born on 13 August 1860.¹ He was the son of Major John Henry St. John and Margaret Warren.¹ He married Justina Margaret Mackenzie, daughter of Duncan Mackenzie and Caroline Lawes Lawes, on 30 November 1916.¹ He died on 2 February 1931 at age 70.¹

     Justina Margaret Mackenzie was born on 14 December 1899 at Beckenham, Kent, England.² She was the daughter of Duncan Mackenzie and Caroline Lawes Lawes.^1,2 She married Henry Warren St. John, son of Major John Henry St. John and Margaret Warren, on 30 November 1916.¹ She died on 20 February 1969 at age 69 at Uckfield, Sussex, England.^1,2
     From 30 November 1916, her married name became St. John.¹

     Duncan Mackenzie was born in 1833 at Brighton, Sussex, England.² He was the son of William Mackenzie and Justina Anderson.³ He married Caroline Lawes Lawes on 13 February 1879 at St. Bartholmew’s Church, Sydenham, Kent, England.² He died on 12 June 1908 at Cranbourne, Shanklin, Isle of Wight, England.²
