     Colonel William Hugh Biddulph was born on 2 June 1869.¹ He was the son of William Wallich Biddulph and Annie Barnikel.¹ He married, firstly, Annette Louisa Master, daughter of Lt.-Col. Harcourt Master, on 20 February 1892.¹ He married, secondly, Kathleen Anna Herring-Cooper, daughter of Harman Herring-Cooper and Selina Weldon, in 1915.¹ He died on 7 October 1947 at age 78, without issue.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Warwickshire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Warwickshire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Ceylon.¹ He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the Ceylon Defence Force.¹ He gained the rank of Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel.¹ He was Colonel of the Ceylon Planter’s Rifle Corps.¹ He lived at Frankton Manor, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.¹

     Annette Louisa Master was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Harcourt Master.¹ She married Colonel William Hugh Biddulph, son of William Wallich Biddulph and Annie Barnikel, on 20 February 1892.¹ She died on 17 January 1915.¹
     From 20 February 1892, her married name became Biddulph.¹

     Lt.-Col. Harcourt Master lived at Catton, Norwich, Norfolk, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 4th (Queen’s Own) Light Dragoons.¹

     Kathleen Anna Herring-Cooper was born on 28 April 1870.² She was the daughter of Harman Herring-Cooper and Selina Weldon.¹ She was baptised on 19 June 1870 at Killeshin, County Carlow, Ireland.² She married Colonel William Hugh Biddulph, son of William Wallich Biddulph and Annie Barnikel, in 1915.¹ She died on 2 February 1948 at age 77.¹
     From 1915, her married name became Biddulph.¹

     Harman Herring-Cooper married Selina Weldon, daughter of Sir Anthony Weldon, 4th Bt. and Harriett Hockeley, on 27 April 1865.² He died in 1887.²
     He lived at Shrule Castle, County Carlow, Ireland^G.¹

     Reverend Alexander George Scale Biddulph was born on 18 January 1872.¹ He was the son of William Wallich Biddulph and Annie Barnikel.¹ He married Winifred Agnes Maxwell, daughter of Reverend David Ardill Maxwell, on 9 August 1899.¹ He died on 16 April 1900 at age 28.¹

     Winifred Agnes Maxwell was the daughter of Reverend David Ardill Maxwell.¹ She married, firstly, Reverend Alexander George Scale Biddulph, son of William Wallich Biddulph and Annie Barnikel, on 9 August 1899.¹ She married, secondly, Rory Eric McLaren, son of James Grieve McLaren, on 4 January 1923.¹ She died on 27 June 1958.¹
     From 9 August 1899, her married name became Biddulph.¹ From 4 January 1923, her married name became McLaren.¹
