     Elizabeth Langham is the daughter of Sir John Langham, 1st Bt.¹

     Sir John Langham, 1st Bt. was born in 1584.² He was the son of Edward Langham and Agnes West.³ He married Mary Bunce, daughter of James Bunce and Mary Holmedon, in 1620.² He died on 13 May 1671.²
     He was a Turkey merchant.² He held the office of Alderman of London.² He held the office of Sheriff of London in 1642.² A royalist during the Civil War, and was twice imprisoned in the Tower of London for refusing with other City of London fathers to countenance publication of republican tracts.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for the City of London in 1654.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Southwark in 1660.² He was created 1st Baronet Langham, of Cottesbrooke, co. Northampton [England] on 7 June 1660.¹

     John Gostwick was the son of Sir William Gostwick, 4th Bt. and Mary Boteler.¹ He married Martha Hammond, daughter of Anthony Hammond.¹ He died circa February 1715.¹ He was buried on 8 March 1715 at Willington, Bedfordshire, England^G.¹

     Martha Hammond was the daughter of Anthony Hammond.¹ She married John Gostwick, son of Sir William Gostwick, 4th Bt. and Mary Boteler.¹
     Her married name became Gostwick.¹

     Anthony Hammond lived at Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹

     Sir William Gostwick, 5th Bt. was the son of John Gostwick and Martha Hammond.¹ He married Loveday Gostwicke, daughter of Edward Gostwicke and Margery (?), after 16 September 1760.¹ He died circa May 1766, without issue.¹ He was buried on 6 May 1766 at North Tawton, Devon, England^G.¹ His will (dated 16 September 1760) was proven (by probate) on 9 June 1766.¹
     He gained the rank of officer in the Irish service.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Gostwick, of Willington, co. Bedford [E., 1611] circa January 1719/20.¹
     On his death, his baronetcy presumably became extinct.¹

     Loveday Gostwicke was baptised on 18 February 1727 at North Tawton, Devon, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Gostwicke and Margery (?)¹ She married Sir William Gostwick, 5th Bt., son of John Gostwick and Martha Hammond, after 16 September 1760.¹ She died in 1786.¹ Her will (dated 1786) was proven (by probate) in June 1786.¹
     From after 16 September 1760, her married name became Gostwick.¹

     Edward Gostwicke married Margery (?)¹
     He was a mercer and shopkeeper.¹ He lived at North Tawton, Devon, England^G.¹ He lived at Northampton, Northamptonshire, England^G.¹

     Margery (?) married Edward Gostwicke.¹
     Her married name became Gostwicke.¹

     Edward Gostwicke is the son of Edward Gostwicke and Margery (?)¹
     He had five daughters, all of whom married.¹
