     He graduated from Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was an assistant master at Godstowe School.¹ He was an assistant master at St. George’s School, Harpenden, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Edith Ann Wilson was the daughter of Daniel Wilson.¹ She married Robert Henry Berney, son of Sir Henry Hanson Berney, 9th Bt. and Jane Dorothea Bloxam, on 24 December 1904.¹ She died on 19 October 1937.¹
     From 24 December 1904, her married name became Berney.¹

     Daniel Wilson lived at The Old Hall, Sandal Magna, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Salome Constance Dawes was the daughter of Commander Edwin Dawes.¹ She married Robert Henry Berney, son of Sir Henry Hanson Berney, 9th Bt. and Jane Dorothea Bloxam, on 20 December 1938.¹ She died on 20 July 1969.¹
     From 20 December 1938, her married name became Berney.¹

     Commander Edwin Dawes lived at Holmbury, Bedfordshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Indian Navy.¹

     Matthew Cromwell Berney was born in August 1872.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Hanson Berney, 9th Bt. and Jane Dorothea Bloxam.¹ He died in September 1872.¹

     Andrew James Berney was born on 23 September 1873.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Hanson Berney, 9th Bt. and Jane Dorothea Bloxam.¹ He died on 28 December 1910 at age 37, unmarried.¹

     Alexander David Berney was born on 20 September 1877.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Hanson Berney, 9th Bt. and Jane Dorothea Bloxam.¹ He married Alice Lizzie Moore, daughter of A. J. Moore, on 19 March 1924.¹ He died in 1942.¹

     Alice Lizzie Moore was the daughter of A. J. Moore.¹ She married Alexander David Berney, son of Sir Henry Hanson Berney, 9th Bt. and Jane Dorothea Bloxam, on 19 March 1924.¹ She died in October 1939.¹
     From 19 March 1924, her married name became Berney.¹
