     He was educated at St. John’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He was admitted to Gray’s Inn.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Lincolnshire in 1611.¹

     Anne Basset was born circa 1564.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Basset.¹ She married Robert Tyrwhitt, son of Marmaduke Tyrwhitt and Ellen Reresby, circa 1587.¹ She died in December 1652.¹
     From circa 1587, her married name became Tyrwhitt.¹

     Marmaduke Tyrwhitt was born circa 1588.¹ He was the son of Robert Tyrwhitt and Anne Basset.¹ A settlement for the marriage between him and Mary Haggerston was made on 3 July 1623.¹ He died on 14 June 1631.¹

     Cecil Tyrwhitt was born circa 1624.¹ He was the son of Marmaduke Tyrwhitt and Mary Haggerston.¹ He married Anne Townshend, daughter of Roger Townshend, circa 1653.¹ He died circa March 1695.¹ He was buried on 9 March 1695.¹
     He was educated at St. John’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Lord of the Manor of Cameringham.¹

     Anne Townshend was the daughter of Roger Townshend.¹ She married Cecil Tyrwhitt, son of Marmaduke Tyrwhitt and Mary Haggerston, circa 1653.¹ She died circa July 1698.¹
     From circa 1653, her married name became Tyrwhitt.¹
