     Sir Scrope Bernard-Morland, 4th Bt. was born on 1 October 1758 at Pestel Amberg, New Jersey, U.S.A.G.1 He was the son of Sir Francis Bernard, 1st Bt. and Amelia Offley.1 He married Hannah Morland, daughter of William Morland, on 26 July 1785 at St. George’s Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.1 He died on 18 April 1830 at age 71.1 He was buried at Kimble, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.1 His will was proven (by probate) in August 1830.1
     He was given the name of Scrope Bernard at birth.1 He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 13 April 1776.1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1779 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1781 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He held the office of Private Secretary to the Viceroy of Ireland in 1782.1 He was Secretary to the Commission of Enquiry into Public Offices in 1785.1 He held the office of Gentleman of the Black Rod [Ireland] in 1787.1 He held the office of Private Secretary to the Viceroy of Ireland in 1787.1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1788 with a Doctor of Civil Laws (D.C.L.)1 He held the office of Under-Secretary of State to the Home Department between 1789 and 1803.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Aylesbury between February 1789 and 1807.1 On 8 May 1789 his name was legally changed to Scrope Bernard-Tyringham by Royal Licence.1 He was admitted to College of Advocates, London on 3 November 1789.1 He held the office of Judge of the Episcopal Court of Durham in 1795.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for St. Mawes between 1806 and 1830.1 On 15 February 1811 his name was legally changed to Scrope Bernard-Morland by Royal Licence.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Bernard, of Nettleham, co. Lincoln [G.B., 1769] on 1 July 1818.1 He lived at Askett Lodge, Great Kimble, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.1 He lived at Nether Winchendon House, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.1

     Hannah Morland was born circa 1763.1 She was the daughter of William Morland.1 She married Sir Scrope Bernard-Morland, 4th Bt., son of Sir Francis Bernard, 1st Bt. and Amelia Offley, on 26 July 1785 at St. George’s Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.1 She died on 4 March 1822 at Pall Mall, St. James’s, London, EnglandG.1 She was buried at Kimble, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.1
     From 26 July 1785, her married name became Bernard-Morland.1

     He matriculated at Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 14 July 1806.2 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Bernard, of Nettleham, co. Lincoln [G.B., 1769] on 18 April 1830.1 In March 1832 he was gazetted as bankrupt.2 He lived at Askett Lodge, Great Kimble, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.1

     Sir Thomas Tyringham Bernard-Morland, 6th Bt. was born on 15 September 1791 at Bolton Street, London, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Sir Scrope Bernard-Morland, 4th Bt. and Hannah Morland.1 He was baptised on 11 October 1791 at St. George’s Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.1 He married, firstly, Sophia Charlotte Williams, daughter of David Williams and Sarah Sophia Stanley, on 26 July 1819 at Aston Clinton, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.1 He married, secondly, Martha Louisa Minshull, daughter of William Minshull, on 12 October 1840 at St. Pancras, London, EnglandG.1 He married, thirdly, Ellen Nott on 28 July 1864.1 He died on 8 May 1883 at age 91 at Cadogan Lodge, Carlyle Square, Chelsea, London, EnglandG, without surviving male issue.1 His will was proven (by probate) on 24 July 1883, at over £48,000.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 1 February 1810.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire between 1816 and 1817.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Buckinghamshire Militia.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Aylesbury between 1857 and 1865.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Bernard, of Nettleham, co. Lincoln [G.B., 1769] on 23 January 1876.1
     On his death, his baronetcy beame extinct.1

     Sophia Charlotte Williams was the daughter of David Williams and Sarah Sophia Stanley.1 She married Sir Thomas Tyringham Bernard-Morland, 6th Bt., son of Sir Scrope Bernard-Morland, 4th Bt. and Hannah Morland, on 26 July 1819 at Aston Clinton, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.1 She died on 15 May 1837.1
     From 26 July 1819, her married name became Bernard-Morland.1
