     James Anthony Goodman was born in 1978.¹ He is the son of Richard George Goodman and Elizabeth Anne Lowe.¹

     Major Raymond Windham de la Poer Beresford-Peirse was born on 4 July 1896.¹ He was the son of Reverend Windham de la Poer Beresford-Peirse and Ethel Milman Proctor Baker.¹ He married, firstly, Aileen Phyllis Thomlinson, daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir William Thomlinson, on 3 July 1923.¹ He married, secondly, Suzanne Ashley Fleming, daughter of Lt.-Col. Samuel Fleming, on 28 February 1945.¹ He died on 1 March 1971 at age 74.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 2nd Life Guards.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the R.A.O.C.¹

     Aileen Phyllis Thomlinson was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir William Thomlinson.¹ She married Major Raymond Windham de la Poer Beresford-Peirse, son of Reverend Windham de la Poer Beresford-Peirse and Ethel Milman Proctor Baker, on 3 July 1923.¹ She died on 2 April 1944.¹
     From 3 July 1923, her married name became Beresford-Peirse.¹

     Lt.-Col. Sir William Thomlinson held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     2nd Lieutenant John Raymond de la Poer Beresford-Peirse was born on 14 August 1924.¹ He was the son of Major Raymond Windham de la Poer Beresford-Peirse and Aileen Phyllis Thomlinson.¹ He died in March 1944 at age 19, accidentally killed on active service.¹
     He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the King’s Royal Rifle Corps.¹

     Suzanne Ashley Fleming was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Samuel Fleming.¹ She married, firstly, Sandys Stewart Macaskie before 1936.¹ She married, secondly, Major Raymond Windham de la Poer Beresford-Peirse, son of Reverend Windham de la Poer Beresford-Peirse and Ethel Milman Proctor Baker, on 28 February 1945.¹ She died on 5 October 1967.¹
     From before 1936, her married name became Macaskie.¹ From 28 February 1945, her married name became Beresford-Peirse.¹
