     Elizabeth Benn was born on 10 May 1907.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Ernest John Pickstone Benn, 2nd Bt. and Gwendolen Dorothy Andrews.¹ She married Paul Alfred Shinkman, son of Joseph Charles Shinkman, on 30 July 1935.¹ She died on 20 September 1999 at age 92.¹
     From 30 July 1935, her married name became Shinkman.¹

     Paul Alfred Shinkman was the son of Joseph Charles Shinkman.¹ He married Elizabeth Benn, daughter of Sir Ernest John Pickstone Benn, 2nd Bt. and Gwendolen Dorothy Andrews, on 30 July 1935.¹ He died in December 1975.¹

     Joseph Charles Shinkman lived at Grand Rapids, Michigan, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Dr. Paul Glanvill Shinkman was born on 18 June 1936.¹ He is the son of Paul Alfred Shinkman and Elizabeth Benn.¹ He married Judith Kay Barnett, daughter of Floyd Edwin Barnett, on 18 January 1969.¹
     He was educated at Landon School^G.¹ He graduated from Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, U.S.A.^G, in 1958 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan, U.S.A.^G, in 1959 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He graduated from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan, U.S.A.^G, in 1962 with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the U.S. Army Medical Service Corps.¹ He was assistant professor at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, U.S.A.^G.¹ He lived in 2003 at 617 Shady Lawn Road, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Judith Kay Barnett is the daughter of Floyd Edwin Barnett.¹ She married Dr. Paul Glanvill Shinkman, son of Paul Alfred Shinkman and Elizabeth Benn, on 18 January 1969.¹
     From 18 January 1969, her married name became Shinkman.¹
