     Major Henry Bellingham was born on 5 July 1778.1 He was the son of Alan Bellingham and Anne Cairnes.1 He married Henrietta Elizabeth Cruden, daughter of Captain William Cruden, on 25 March 1809.1 He died on 26 May 1820 at age 41.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the 1st Bengal Native Infantry.1
