     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Irish Guards.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Baron Bellew of Barmeath, co. Louth [I., 1848] on 3 August 2010.² He succeeded as the 14th Baronet Bellew, of Barmeath, co. Louth [I., 1688] on 3 August 2010.²

     Rosemary Sarah Hitchcock was born in 1947.² She is the daughter of Major Reginald Kilner Brasier Hitchcock and Joyce Leslie Ritchie.^1,3 She married Major Bryan Edward Bellew, 8th Baron Bellew of Barmeath, son of James Bryan Bellew, 7th Baron Bellew of Barmeath and Mary Elizabeth Hill, on 18 April 1968.¹
     From 18 April 1968, her married name became Bellew.¹ After her marriage, Rosemary Sarah Hitchcock was styled as Baroness Bellew of Barmeath on 3 August 2010.

     Major Reginald Kilner Brasier Hitchcock was born circa 1920.² He married Joyce Leslie Ritchie in 1945 at Westminster, London, England.^2,3 He died on 14 August 2014.²
