     Major Derek Bartlett was born on 13 May 1930.¹ He was the son of Major Norman Edwin Bartlett and Sheila Barton.¹ He married, firstly, Joan Patricia Breyfogle, daughter of Robert Joshua Breyfogle, on 25 January 1956.¹ He married, secondly, Geraldine Adrienne Hutchinson in 2008.² He died on 20 March 2016 at age 85.²
     He gained the rank of Major in the Life Guards.¹ He was with Vickers da Costa.¹ He lived in 2003 at Fiveways, Warfield, Berkshire, England^G.¹

     Joan Patricia Breyfogle was the daughter of Robert Joshua Breyfogle.¹ She married Major Derek Bartlett, son of Major Norman Edwin Bartlett and Sheila Barton, on 25 January 1956.¹ She died on 14 November 2004.²
     From 25 January 1956, her married name became Bartlett.¹

     Robert Joshua Breyfogle lived at Field Cottage, Sunningdale, Berkshire, England^G.¹
