     Sir Francis Laurence John Barrow, 4th Bt. was born on 11 August 1862.¹ He was the son of Sir John Croker Barrow, 3rd Bt. and Emily Jane Merriman.¹ He married, firstly, Winifred Sarah Steward, daughter of William Crozier Steward, on 7 January 1890.¹ He married, secondly, Edith Townsend, daughter of William Townsend, on 21 April 1932.¹ He died on 9 June 1950 at age 87.¹
     He was an architect and ornithologist.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Barrow, of Ulverstone, co. Lancaster [U.K., 1835] on 23 September 1900.¹

     Winifred Sarah Steward was the daughter of William Crozier Steward.¹ She married Sir Francis Laurence John Barrow, 4th Bt., son of Sir John Croker Barrow, 3rd Bt. and Emily Jane Merriman, on 7 January 1890.¹ She died on 21 February 1932.¹
     From 7 January 1890, her married name became Barrow.¹

     William Crozier Steward lived at Castgate, Whitehaven, Cumberland, England^G.¹

     Edith Townsend is the daughter of William Townsend.¹ She married Sir Francis Laurence John Barrow, 4th Bt., son of Sir John Croker Barrow, 3rd Bt. and Emily Jane Merriman, on 21 April 1932.¹
     From 21 April 1932, her married name became Barrow.¹

     Major Sir Wilfred John Wilson Croker Barrow, 5th Bt. was born on 28 December 1897.¹ He was the son of Sir Francis Laurence John Barrow, 4th Bt. and Winifred Sarah Steward.¹ He married Gwladys Patricia Uniacke, daughter of Richard Gordon FitzGerald Uniacke and Cecilia Monica Lambert, on 27 April 1926.¹ He died on 11 January 1960 at age 62.¹
     He was educated at Stonyhurst College, Blackburn, Lancashire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Fusiliers.¹ He was Regional Officer, Ministry of House Security in 1941.¹ He was Deputy Senior Regional Officer, Ministry of House Security between 1943 and 1944.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Zoological Society (F.Z.S.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Historical Society (F.R.Hist.S.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Barrow, of Ulverstone, co. Lancaster [U.K., 1835] on 9 June 1950.¹

     Cuthbert Joseph Barrow was born on 24 May 1900.¹ He was the son of Sir Francis Laurence John Barrow, 4th Bt. and Winifred Sarah Steward.¹ He died on 4 October 1900.¹

     Alfred Francis Lendon Barrow was born on 12 May 1904.¹ He was the son of Sir Francis Laurence John Barrow, 4th Bt. and Winifred Sarah Steward.¹ He married Ruth Mary Milsum, daughter of William Sydney Milsum, in 1933.¹ He died on 29 April 1989 at age 84.¹

     Ruth Mary Milsum was born circa 1914.² She was the daughter of William Sydney Milsum.¹ She married Alfred Francis Lendon Barrow, son of Sir Francis Laurence John Barrow, 4th Bt. and Winifred Sarah Steward, in 1933.¹ She died on 7 October 2010.²
     From 1933, her married name became Barrow.¹ She lived in 2003 at 13 The Lindens, Great Austins, Farnham, Surrey, England^G.¹

     William Sydney Milsum lived at Frensham, Surrey, England^G.¹
