Sir John Barrington, 9th Bt.1 
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newtown, Isle of Wight between 1780 and 1796.1 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Barrington, of Barrington Hall [in Hatfield Broadoak], co. Essex [E., 1611] on 24 September 1792.1 He lived at Swainston, Isle of Wight, EnglandG.1

On his death, his baronetcy became extinct. He had three other daughters.2
