     Sir Robert Barnewall, 8th Bt. was born on 6 October 1757.¹ He was the son of Bartholomew Barnewall and Mary Colt.¹ He and Catharine Rose Aylmer obtained a marriage license on 2 November 1786.¹ He and Margaret Jane Palmer obtained a marriage license on 3 October 1795.¹ He died on 27 August 1836 at age 78.¹
     He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Barnewall, of Crickstown, co. Meath [I., 1623] in November 1821, after proving his right of succession to the College of Arms, Dublin.¹ He lived at Greenanstown, County Meath, Ireland^G.¹

     Catharine Rose Aylmer was born before 1771. She was the daughter of Charles Aylmer.¹ She and Sir Robert Barnewall, 8th Bt. obtained a marriage license on 2 November 1786.¹ She died on 10 February 1790.¹
     From 2 November 1786, her married name became Barnewall.¹

     Charles Aylmer was born before 1756.
     He lived at Painstown, County Kildare, Ireland^G.¹

     Margaret Jane Palmer was the daughter of George Palmer.¹ She and Sir Robert Barnewall, 8th Bt. obtained a marriage license on 3 October 1795.¹ She died in 1844.¹
     From 3 October 1795, her married name became Barnewall.¹

     George Palmer held the office of Governor of the Bank of Ireland.¹

     Sir Aylmer John Barnewall, 9th Bt. was born on 30 December 1789.¹ He was the son of Sir Robert Barnewall, 8th Bt. and Catharine Rose Aylmer.¹ He married Esmay Mary Catherine Barnewall, daughter of Christopher Barnewall and Anne Aylmer, on 29 September 1836.¹ He died on 22 January 1838 at age 48.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 35th Foot.¹ He fought in the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Barnewall, of Crickstown, co. Meath [I., 1623] on 27 August 1836.¹ He lived at Greenanstown, County Westmeath, Ireland^G.¹

     Esmay Mary Catherine Barnewall was born circa 1795.¹ She was the daughter of Christopher Barnewall and Anne Aylmer.¹ She married Sir Aylmer John Barnewall, 9th Bt., son of Sir Robert Barnewall, 8th Bt. and Catharine Rose Aylmer, on 29 September 1836.¹ She died on 5 March 1879 at 4 Green Street, Grosvenor Square, London, England^G.¹

     Christopher Barnewall was the son of Richard Barnewall and Katherine Byrne.² He married Anne Aylmer, daughter of Charles Aylmer, in November 1793.³ He died on 14 August 1849.³
     He lived at Meadstown, County Meath, Ireland^G.³

     Anne Aylmer was born before 1779. She was the daughter of Charles Aylmer.¹ She married Christopher Barnewall, son of Richard Barnewall and Katherine Byrne, in November 1793.²
     From November 1793, her married name became Barnewall.

     Sir Reginald Aylmer John de Barneval Barnewall, 10th Bt. was born posthumously on 16 February 1838.¹ He was the son of Sir Aylmer John Barnewall, 9th Bt. and Esmay Mary Catherine Barnewall.¹ He died on 18 April 1909 at age 71, unmarried.²
     He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Barnewall, of Crickstown, co. Meath [I., 1623] on 16 February 1838.¹ He was educated at Catholic University of Dublin, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹
