     Frank Vans Agnew was born on 27 April 1868.1 He was the son of George Vans Agnew and Rosa Coppard Wilson.1 He married Olivia Fell, daughter of Edward Nelson Fell and Ann Mumford Palmer, in 1928.1 He died on 11 June 1955 at age 87.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Tank Corps.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1
