Sir William Bloyes Barclay of Pierston, 5th Bt.1 
He gained the rank of Purser in the Royal Navy.1 His last will was dated 23 August 1743. He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Barclay, of Pierston, co. Ayr [N.S., 1668] on 12 January 1755.1

He gained the rank of Captain in the Guards.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Barclay, of Pierston, co. Ayr [N.S., 1668] on 7 June 1756.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1765 in the Honourable East India Company Service, accompanying Clive to India.1

He fought in the capture of Havana in 1762.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Barclay, of Pierston, co. Ayr [N.S., 1668] in 1769.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.

Sir Robert Barclay of Pierston, 8th Bt.1 
He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Barclay, of Pierston, co. Ayr [N.S., 1668] on 12 June 1793.1 In 1798 he was taken prisoner by the French, and tried for complicity with a mission held at Hamburg in 1796-1798, but was acquitted and released on 19 November 1799.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newtown, Isle of Wight between 1802 and 1806.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newtown, Isle of Wight between 1806 and 1807.1 He held the office of Collector of Internal Revenue, Mauritius between 1813 and 1835.3

Harriette Alicia Durell was born on 15 July 1777.1 She was the daughter of Colonel Thomas Durell and Martha Hall.1 She married, firstly, Baron (?) de Cronstedt before 1802.1 She married, secondly, Sir Robert Barclay of Pierston, 8th Bt., son of Sir William Bloyes Barclay of Pierston, 5th Bt. and Susanna Church, on 20 June 1802 at Church of the British Factory, Hamburg, GermanyG.1 She died on 16 February 1859 at age 81 at Brook Street, Bath, Somerset, EnglandG.1
From before 1802, her married name became de Cronstedt.1 From 20 June 1802, her married name became Barclay.1
