     Mary Augusta Mosley Cheeke was born on 14 November 1874.2 She was the daughter of George Ashwin Cheeke and Selina (?)1,2 She married Lt.-Col. Wynyard Philip Bannerman, son of General William Bannerman and Louisa Constance Goddard, on 17 June 1901.1 She died on 2 June 1910 at age 35.1
     From 17 June 1901, her married name became Bannerman.1
