     Maj.-Gen. Richard Warren was born on 31 May 1828.2 He was the son of Reverend Robert Warren and Mary Crawford.2,3 He married, secondly, Martha Elizabeth (?) on 27 December 1893.2 He married, firstly, Emily Lauder, daughter of William Lauder, on 24 February 1852.2 He died on 8 October 1913 at age 85.2
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Engineers.2 He lived at Westbourne, Queenstown, County Cork, Ireland.2
