     Sir Philip Wilbraham Baker Wilbraham, 6th Bt. was born on 17 September 1875.¹ He was the son of Sir George Barrington Baker Wilbraham, 5th Bt. and Katharine Frances Wilbraham.² He married Joyce Christabel Kennaway, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir John Henry Kennaway, 3rd Bt. and Frances Arbuthnot, on 8 August 1901.¹ He died on 11 October 1957 at age 82.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.² He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1898 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He was admitted to Lincoln’s Inn in 1901 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.² He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1901 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Baker, of Loventor in Totnes, Devon [G.B., 1776] on 28 August 1912.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cheshire.² He was Secretary of the National Asembly of the Church of England between 1920 and 1939.¹ He held the office of Vicar-General of Canterbury between 1934 and 1957.¹ He graduated from Lambeth University, London, England^G, in 1936 with a Doctor of Civil Laws (D.C.L.)² He held the office of First Church Estates Commissioner between 1939 and 1954.¹ He held the office of Judge of the Provincial Courts of Canterbury and York.¹ He held the office of High Steward of Congleton.² He held the office of a Bencher in 1942.² He held the office of Vicar-General of the Province of York.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1954.²

     Sir George Barrington Baker Wilbraham, 5th Bt. was born on 26 January 1845.¹ He was the son of Sir George Baker, 3rd Bt. and Mary Isabella Sutton.¹ He married Katharine Frances Wilbraham, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Richard Wilbraham and Elizabeth Frances Egerton, on 4 April 1872.¹ He died on 28 August 1912 at age 67.¹
     He was given the name of George Barrington Baker at birth.¹ He graduated from Corpus Christi College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was admitted to Lincoln’s Inn entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.¹ On 14 July 1900 his name was legally changed to George Barrington Baker Wilbraham by Royal Licence.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Baker, of Loventor in Totnes, Devon [G.B., 1776] on 4 October 1911.¹
