Sir John Alfred Picton Bagge, 6th Bt.1 
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He gained the rank of Major in the Inns of Court Regiment.2 He fought in the Second World War, with the Cheshire Yeomanry in Palestine, Sudan and the British Military Missions to Ethiopia and Bulgaria.2 He was appointed Commander, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (C.St.J.) in 1959.2 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Bagge, of Stradsett Hall, Norfolk [U.K., 1867] on 23 December 1967.2 He was appointed Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.) in 1975.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)2
