     Mary Elizabeth Spring Rice was born on 1 May 1906.² She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Cecil Arthur Spring Rice and Florence Caroline Lascelles.^1,2 She married Sir Oswald Raynor Arthur, son of Sigismund Raynor Arthur and Constance Eleanor Hobhouse, on 8 May 1935.¹ She died in 1994.¹
     From 8 May 1935, her married name became Arthur.¹ She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1950.¹ She was appointed Serving Sister, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (S.S.St.J.)¹

     Thomas Sigismund Raynor Arthur was born on 19 January 1940.¹ He is the son of Sir Oswald Raynor Arthur and Mary Elizabeth Spring Rice.¹ He married Angela Susan Clare MacLeod, daughter of Lt.-Col. Roland Theodore Wroughton MacLeod, on 26 March 1966.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He lived in 2003 at Burwash Glebe, Etchingham, Sussex, England^G.¹

     Angela Susan Clare MacLeod was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Roland Theodore Wroughton MacLeod.¹ She married Thomas Sigismund Raynor Arthur, son of Sir Oswald Raynor Arthur and Mary Elizabeth Spring Rice, on 26 March 1966.¹ She died on 5 December 2015.²
     From 26 March 1966, her married name became Arthur.¹

     Lt.-Col. Roland Theodore Wroughton MacLeod lived at Lanarkshire, Scotland^G.¹

     George Raynor MacLeod Arthur was born in 1969.¹ He is the son of Thomas Sigismund Raynor Arthur and Angela Susan Clare MacLeod.¹
