     Sir Charles Parry Hobhouse, 3rd Bt. was born on 2 January 1825.² He was the son of Henry William Hobhouse and Mary Anne Palmer.² He married, firstly, Edith Lucy Turton, daughter of Sir Thomas Edward Michell Turton, 2nd Bt., on 15 January 1855.² He married, secondly, Anna Maria Sawers, daughter of Alexander Sawers, on 9 September 1868.² He died on 30 December 1916 at age 91.²
     He was with the Bengal Civil Service between 1844 and 1872.² He held the office of Judge of the High Court [Calcutta] between 1867 and 1870.² He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Hobhouse, of Broughton-Gifford, Bradford-on-Avon, and Monkton Farleigh, co. Wilts [U.K., 1812] on 3 June 1869.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Wiltshire.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Somerset.²

     George Raynor Arthur was born on 1 August 1892.¹ He was the son of Sigismund Raynor Arthur and Constance Eleanor Hobhouse.¹ He died on 16 May 1894 at age 1.¹

     Reverend John Sigismund Arthur was born on 24 August 1894.¹ He was the son of Sigismund Raynor Arthur and Constance Eleanor Hobhouse.¹ He married Constance Amy Farquhar Sladen, daughter of Joseph Sladen, on 6 July 1925.¹ He died on 16 December 1974 at age 80.¹
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Flying Officer in the Royal Air Force.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He graduated from Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1921 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Regular Army Reserve of Officers.¹ He gained the rank of Chaplain of the Forces between 1941 and 1944.¹ He graduated from Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1944 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was the chaplain between 1944 and 1953 at Dauntsey’s School, West Lavington, Wiltshire, England^G.¹ He was the Vicar and Rural Dean between 1953 and 1962 at Beaminster, Dorset, England^G.¹ He was the Vicar at Market Lavington, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Constance Amy Farquhar Sladen was the daughter of Joseph Sladen.¹ She married Reverend John Sigismund Arthur, son of Sigismund Raynor Arthur and Constance Eleanor Hobhouse, on 6 July 1925.¹ She died in 1980.¹
     From 6 July 1925, her married name became Arthur.¹

     Joseph Sladen was in the Indian Civil Service.¹

     Leonard John Henry Arthur was born on 20 April 1926.¹ He was the son of Reverend John Sigismund Arthur and Constance Amy Farquhar Sladen.¹ He married Hon. Janet Stella Brain, daughter of Walter Russell Brain, 1st Baron Brain and Stella Langdon-Down, on 27 February 1954.¹ He died in 1983.¹
     He was educated at Aldenham School, Elstree, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)¹ He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Surgery (B.Ch.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Army Medical Corps.¹ He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Physicians, London (M.R.C.P.) in 1957.¹

     Hon. Janet Stella Brain was born on 30 January 1931.² She is the daughter of Walter Russell Brain, 1st Baron Brain and Stella Langdon-Down.¹ She married Leonard John Henry Arthur, son of Reverend John Sigismund Arthur and Constance Amy Farquhar Sladen, on 27 February 1954.¹
     She was educated at Surbiton High School, Surbiton, Surrey, England^G.² She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² From 27 February 1954, her married name became Arthur.¹ She lived in 2004 at Royal Oak Cottage, Church Broughton, Derbyshire, England^G.¹

     Walter Russell Brain, 1st Baron Brain was born on 23 October 1895.² He was the son of Walter John Brain and Edith Alice Smith.^2,3 He married Stella Langdon-Down, daughter of Reginald Langdon Langdon-Down, on 8 September 1920.² He died on 29 December 1966 at age 71.²
