     Sir John Robert Arnott, 5th Bt. was born on 9 April 1927.¹ He was the son of Sir Robert John Arnott, 4th Bt. and Emita Emelia James.¹ He married Ann Farrelly, daughter of Terence Alphonsus Farrelly, in 1974.¹ He died in 1981.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Irish Fusiliers.¹ He was editor of the Irish Times.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Arnott, of Woodlands, Shandon, co. Cork [U.K., 1896] on 25 July 1966.¹

     Professor Eric John Arnott was born on 12 June 1929.¹ He was the son of Sir Robert John Arnott, 4th Bt. and Emita Emelia James.¹ He married Veronica Mary von der Seedeck, daughter of Captain Arvid Lanqué Querfeld von der Seedeck, on 19 November 1960.¹ He died on 1 December 2011 at age 82.²

     Veronica Mary von der Seedeck is the daughter of Captain Arvid Lanqué Querfeld von der Seedeck.¹ She married Professor Eric John Arnott, son of Sir Robert John Arnott, 4th Bt. and Emita Emelia James, on 19 November 1960.¹
     From 19 November 1960, her married name became Arnott.¹

     Captain Arvid Lanqué Querfeld von der Seedeck lived at Hartley Wintney, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Stephen John Arnott was born on 19 February 1962.¹ He is the son of Professor Eric John Arnott and Veronica Mary von der Seedeck.¹ He married Katherine Jane Keep Thompson, daughter of Colin G. Thompson, in 1989.¹

     Katherine Jane Keep Thompson is the daughter of Colin G. Thompson.¹ She married Stephen John Arnott, son of Professor Eric John Arnott and Veronica Mary von der Seedeck, in 1989.¹
