     Captain John Arnott was born on 25 July 1885.¹ He was the son of Major Sir John Alexander Arnott, 2nd Bt. and Caroline Sydney Williams.¹ He died on 30 March 1918 at age 32, killed in action.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 15th Hussars.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹

     Sir Lauriston John Arnott, 3rd Bt. was born on 27 November 1890.¹ He was the son of Major Sir John Alexander Arnott, 2nd Bt. and Caroline Sydney Williams.¹ He died on 2 July 1958 at age 67, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Battalion, Royal Irish Rifles.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded twice.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Arnott, of Woodlands, Shandon, co. Cork [U.K., 1896] on 26 July 1940.¹

     Sir Robert John Arnott, 4th Bt. was born on 19 August 1896.¹ He was the son of Major Sir John Alexander Arnott, 2nd Bt. and Caroline Sydney Williams.¹ He married Emita Emelia James, daughter of Francis James, on 17 June 1926.¹ He died on 25 July 1966 at age 69.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the King’s Royal Rifle Corps.¹ He fought in the First World War, in France and Salonica.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Arnott, of Woodlands, Shandon, co. Cork [U.K., 1896] on 2 July 1958.¹

     Caroline Arnott was born on 28 April 1934.¹ She is the daughter of Major Thomas John Arnott and Lettice Mary Crompton-Roberts.¹
     She lived in 2003 at Poole Keynes House, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹

     Lettice Mary Crompton-Roberts was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Charles Montagu Crompton-Roberts and Winifred Eyre Greenwell.¹ She married Major Thomas John Arnott, son of Major Sir John Alexander Arnott, 2nd Bt. and Caroline Sydney Williams, on 29 September 1927.¹ She died in 1986.¹
     From 29 September 1927, her married name became Arnott.¹

     Lt.-Col. Charles Montagu Crompton-Roberts was the son of Charles Henry Crompton-Roberts.² He married Winifred Eyre Greenwell, daughter of Sir Walpole Lloyd Greenwell, 1st Bt. and Kathleen Eugenie Tizard, on 26 May 1896.² He died on 11 April 1931.²
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Monmouthshire.² He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.)² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Monmouthshire.² He lived at Drybridge, Monmouthshire, Wales^G.¹

     Peter John Arnott was born on 25 January 1929.¹ He was the son of Major Thomas John Arnott and Lettice Mary Crompton-Roberts.¹ He died in October 2001 at age 72 at Surrey, England^G.
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 15th/19th Hussars.¹ He lived at Flat 38, Braemar, Kersfield Road, London, England^G.¹

     Guy Arnott was born on 9 November 1932.¹ He was the son of Major Thomas John Arnott and Lettice Mary Crompton-Roberts.¹ He married Diana Staines, daughter of D. Staines, on 29 November 1963.¹ He died on 21 August 2010 at age 77 at Pittsworth, Queensland, Australia^G, without issue.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 15th/19th Hussars.¹ He lived in 2003 at 12/500 Marine Parade, Biggera Waters, Queensland, Australia^G.¹

     Diana Staines was the daughter of D. Staines.¹ She married Guy Arnott, son of Major Thomas John Arnott and Lettice Mary Crompton-Roberts, on 29 November 1963.¹ She died in 1982.¹
     From 29 November 1963, her married name became Arnott.¹
