     David Taylor Arnott was born on 28 April 1855.¹ He was the son of Sir John Arnott, 1st Bt. and Mary McKinlay.¹ He married, firstly, Ethel Marion Napier Bell, daughter of Captain Frederic John Bell, in 1890.¹ He married, secondly, Blanche Emma Girdwood, daughter of John Girdwood, on 11 December 1895.¹ He died on 22 July 1915 at age 60.¹

     Ethel Marion Napier Bell was the daughter of Captain Frederic John Bell.¹ She married David Taylor Arnott, son of Sir John Arnott, 1st Bt. and Mary McKinlay, in 1890.¹ She died on 21 November 1893.¹
     From 1890, her married name became Arnott.¹

     Captain Frederic John Bell gained the rank of Captain in the 47th Regiment.¹

     John Frederic Arnott was born on 2 June 1892.¹ He was the son of David Taylor Arnott and Ethel Marion Napier Bell.¹ He married Phyllis Cundell, daughter of James Cundell, on 23 April 1919.¹ He died on 10 January 1967 at age 74.¹
     He was educated at Bradfield School, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Wiltshire Regiment.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He fought in the Second World War, in the Saskatchewan Regiment.¹

     Phyllis Cundell was born circa 1895.² She was the daughter of James Cundell.¹ She married John Frederic Arnott, son of David Taylor Arnott and Ethel Marion Napier Bell, on 23 April 1919.¹ She died on 25 May 1967 at Maidstone, Kent, England.^1,2
     From 23 April 1919, her married name became Arnott.¹

     Lt.-Cdr. John Anthony Arnott was born on 23 March 1921.¹ He was the son of John Frederic Arnott and Phyllis Cundell.¹ He married Jean Barbara Jill Benedicta Gill, daughter of Charles Lovett Gill and Adele Nora Dickinson, on 18 November 1944.¹ He died on 21 February 1980 at age 58 at Devon Cottage, Bourton, Dorset, England.^1,2
     Lt.-Cdr. John Anthony Arnott usually went by his middle name of Anthony.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (F.R.I.C.S.)¹ He was Superintendant of Lands and Survey, Sarawak.¹
