     Captain Frederic Whitworth-Jones was born illegitimately, but later legitimaised in 1868.² He was the son of Henry Whitworth Jones and Maria Page.^1,2 He married, secondly, Alice Armytage, daughter of Colonel Henry Armytage and Hon. Fenella FitzHardinge Berkeley, on 17 July 1907.¹ He died on 27 June 1935.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry.¹

     Henry Whitworth Jones was born in 1818 at Stapleton, Gloucestershire, England^G.² He was the son of Henry Jones and Katherine Russell.² He married, firstly, Eliza Groem, daughter of Thomas Groem, in 1841.² He married, secondly, Maria Page, daughter of William Lionel Page, in 1885.
     He was an actor and singer.² He was also known as Whitworth Jones a stage-name.²

     Frances Sarah Branding was the daughter of Robert William Branding.¹ She married, firstly, Colonel Henry Armytage, son of Sir George Armytage, 4th Bt. and Mary Bowles, on 26 August 1858.¹ She married, secondly, Arthur Pott on 28 July 1863.¹ She died in 1887.¹
     From 26 August 1858, her married name became Armytage.¹ From 28 July 1863, her married name became Pott.¹

     Robert William Branding lived at Low Gosforth, Northumberland, England^G.¹

     Arthur Pott married Frances Sarah Branding, daughter of Robert William Branding, on 28 July 1863.¹
     He lived at Bentham^G.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹

     Lt.-Col. Arthur Henry Armytage was born on 27 August 1845.¹ He was the son of Sir George Armytage, 5th Bt. and Eliza Matilda Mary Radcliffe.¹ He married Katherine Harriet Creyke, daughter of Ralph Creyke and Louisa Frances Croft, on 24 June 1870.¹ He died on 5 May 1927 at age 81.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the East Riding, Yorkshire.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Horse Artillery.¹

     Katherine Harriet Creyke was the daughter of Ralph Creyke and Louisa Frances Croft.^1,2 She married Lt.-Col. Arthur Henry Armytage, son of Sir George Armytage, 5th Bt. and Eliza Matilda Mary Radcliffe, on 24 June 1870.¹ She died on 7 January 1938.¹
     From 24 June 1870, her married name became Armytage.¹

     Ralph Creyke was the son of Ralph Creyke and Louisa Frances Croft.³ He married Frances Elizabeth Bacon, daughter of Sir Henry Hickman Bacon, 10th and 11th Bt. and Elizabeth Beckett, on 28 December 1882.⁴ He died on 16 April 1908.⁴
     He lived at Rawcliffe Hall, Yorkshire, England^G.⁴ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Yorkshire.¹ He lived at Marton, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Arthur Ralph Armytage was born on 2 May 1884.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Arthur Henry Armytage and Katherine Harriet Creyke.¹ He died on 5 August 1885 at age 1.¹

     Dorothy Harriet Armytage was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Arthur Henry Armytage and Katherine Harriet Creyke.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Henry Halford Dawes, son of Sir Edwyn Sandys Dawes and Lucy Emily Bagnall, on 13 February 1908.¹ She died on 20 January 1934.¹
     From 13 February 1908, her married name became Dawes.¹
