     Jack Proby Armstrong was born on 27 May 1878.¹ He was the son of Montagu Fullerton Armstrong and Florence Angelica Sophia Proby.¹ He married Maria Dominga Alvarenga Molina, daughter of John Molina, on 25 October 1912.¹ He died on 21 February 1953 at age 74.¹
     He held the office of Consul to Tegucigalpa in 1911.¹ He was Acting 1st Secretary of Legation to Guatemala between 1919 and 1920.¹

     Maria Dominga Alvarenga Molina is the daughter of John Molina.¹ She married Jack Proby Armstrong, son of Montagu Fullerton Armstrong and Florence Angelica Sophia Proby, on 25 October 1912.¹
     From 25 October 1912, her married name became Armstrong.¹

     Lt.-Cdr. Montagu John Proby Armstrong was born on 7 November 1913 at Tegucigalpa, Honduras.^1,2 He was the son of Jack Proby Armstrong and Maria Dominga Alvarenga Molina.¹ He died on 14 December 1984 at age 71 at Guatemala City, Guatemala^G.^1,2
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He was educated at Merton College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.) in 1942.¹

     Martha Florence Armstrong was born on 16 November 1921.¹ She is the daughter of Jack Proby Armstrong and Maria Dominga Alvarenga Molina.¹ She married, firstly, Elmer Page Madsen in 1944.¹ She and Elmer Page Madsen were divorced in 1956.¹ She married, secondly, James Worth Thornton, son of Sir Henry Worth Thornton, in 1958.¹
     From 1944, her married name became Madsen.¹ From 1958, her married name became Thornton.¹

     Elmer Page Madsen married Martha Florence Armstrong, daughter of Jack Proby Armstrong and Maria Dominga Alvarenga Molina, in 1944.¹ He and Martha Florence Armstrong were divorced in 1956.¹

     James Worth Thornton is the son of Sir Henry Worth Thornton.¹ He married Martha Florence Armstrong, daughter of Jack Proby Armstrong and Maria Dominga Alvarenga Molina, in 1958.¹
     He lived at Virginia, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Sir Henry Worth Thornton lived at Montreal, Quebec, Canada^G.¹ He was registered as a Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (M.Inst.C.E.)¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.)¹

     Captain Charles Francis Armstrong was born in 1881.¹ He was the son of Montagu Fullerton Armstrong and Florence Angelica Sophia Proby.¹ He died on 11 December 1904, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Egypt Coast Guard.¹

     Frederick Edmund John Armstrong was born in 1889.¹ He was the son of Montagu Fullerton Armstrong and Florence Angelica Sophia Proby.¹ He married Stella Morgan, daughter of J. R. Morgan, on 6 February 1915.¹ He died on 27 October 1919.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 181st Pioneer Regiment, Indian Army.¹
