     Gilbert Humphrys Archdale was born on 22 July 1947.¹ He is the son of Captain Humphreys Archdale and Mary Katherine Gilbert.¹ He married Susan Anne Boyles, daughter of Dennis John Boyles, in 1984.¹
     He was educated at Tonbridge School, Tonbridge, Kent, England^G.¹ He lived in 2003 at Church Farm, Motcombe, Shaftesbury, Dorset, England^G.¹

     Susan Anne Boyles is the daughter of Dennis John Boyles.¹ She married Gilbert Humphrys Archdale, son of Captain Humphreys Archdale and Mary Katherine Gilbert, in 1984.¹
     From 1984, her married name became Archdale.¹

     Thomas Robert Humphrys Archdale was born in 1988.¹ He is the son of Gilbert Humphrys Archdale and Susan Anne Boyles.¹

     Peter Charles Alexander Archdale was born in 1991.¹ He is the son of Gilbert Humphrys Archdale and Susan Anne Boyles.¹

     Percy Marmaduke Tottenham was born on 17 August 1873.² He was the son of Captain Francis Loftus Tottenham and Cicell Grimston.^1,2 He was baptised on 20 August 1873 at Kingstown, County Dublin, Ireland^G.³ He married Angel Archdale, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Edward Mervyn Archdale, 1st Bt. and Alicia Bland Fleming, on 31 August 1909.¹ He died on 27 January 1975 at age 101.¹
     He was educated at Repton School, Repton, Derbyshire, England^G.² He was in the Egyptian Public Works Deaprtment between 1895 and 1925.² He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.^1,2 He was agent to the Egyptian Government between 1925 and 1937 at London, England^G.² He lived at Crowborough, Sussex, England^G.¹

     Captain Francis Loftus Tottenham was born on 17 November 1847 at Glenfarne Hall, County Leitrim, Ireland^G.² He was the son of Nicholas Loftus Tottenham and Anna Maria Hopkins.² He married Cicell Grimston, daughter of Colonel C. Grimston, on 22 August 1871 at Yorkshire, England^G.³
     He lived at Coolmore, Crowborough, Sussex, England^G.¹

     Alice Gerda Archdale was born on 9 June 1923.¹ She was the daughter of Vice-Admiral Sir Nicholas Edward Archdale, 2nd Bt. and Gerda Henriette Sievers.¹ She married Major Peter Edward Courage, son of Lt.-Col. John Hubert Courage and Rose Mary McNeil, on 31 March 1949.¹ She and Major Peter Edward Courage were divorced in 1965.¹ She died on 6 April 1987 at age 63.¹
     Alice Gerda Archdale also went by the nick-name of Patty.¹ From 31 March 1949, her married name became Courage.¹

     Major Peter Edward Courage was born in 1922.² He was the son of Lt.-Col. John Hubert Courage and Rose Mary McNeil.^1,2 He married Alice Gerda Archdale, daughter of Vice-Admiral Sir Nicholas Edward Archdale, 2nd Bt. and Gerda Henriette Sievers, on 31 March 1949.¹ He and Alice Gerda Archdale were divorced in 1965.¹ He died in 1987.²
     He gained the rank of Major in the 1st King’s Dragoon Guards.¹
