     Michael Geoffrey Henderson Arbuthnot was born on 28 September 1919.¹ He was the son of Admiral Sir Geoffrey Schomberg Arbuthnot and Jessie Marguerite Henderson.¹ He married Nicole Patricia Collins, daughter of Lt.-Col. Richard Leslie Halliburton Collins, on 24 April 1948.¹ He died on 11 June 1967 at age 47 at Eastbourne, Sussex, England^G.^1,2
     He was educated between 1933 and 1938 at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.¹ He was with Shell in Venezuela and Rhodesia.²

     Nicole Patricia Collins was born on 13 December 1917.² She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Richard Leslie Halliburton Collins.¹ She married Michael Geoffrey Henderson Arbuthnot, son of Admiral Sir Geoffrey Schomberg Arbuthnot and Jessie Marguerite Henderson, on 24 April 1948.¹ She died on 26 December 2014 at age 97.³
     Nicole Patricia Collins usually went by her middle name of Patricia.¹ From 24 April 1948, her married name became Arbuthnot.¹ She lived in 2003 at 5 Egerton Place, London, England^G.¹
