He held the office of Sheriff of Huntingdonshire between 1818 and 1819.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Cambridgeshire between 1818 and 1819.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Apreece, of Washingley, co. Huntingdon [G.B., 1782] on 27 May 1833.1
On his deah, his baronetcy became extinct.1
