     F/Lt. Robert Owen Blackall was the son of Norman Blackall.¹ He married Jean Mary Anstruther, daughter of Colonel Philip Noel Anstruther and Mary Hope Lewin, on 28 July 1951.¹ He died on 25 June 1952, killed while on air/sea exercises over the North Sea.¹
     He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force.¹
