     Victoria Mary Albu was born on 14 January 1976 at Durban, Natal, South Africa^G.¹ She is the daughter of Sir George Albu, 3rd Bt. and Joan Valerie Millar.¹

     Sir George Werner Albu, 2nd Bt. was born on 3 September 1905.¹ He was the son of Sir George Albu, 1st Bt. and Gertrude Frederike Alice Rosendorff.¹ He married, firstly, Kathleen Betty Dicey, daughter of Edward Charles Dicey, on 20 October 1928.¹ He married, secondly, Elsie Violet (?) in 1956.¹ He died on 18 February 1963 at age 57.¹
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Albu, of Johannesburg, Transvaal, South Africa [U.K., 1912] on 27 December 1935.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the South African Forces.¹ He was chairman of the General Mining and Finance Corporation, Johannesburg.¹

     Simon Albu was born on 26 February 1830.¹ He married Fanny Sternberg on 14 December 1856.¹ He died on 26 February 1911 at age 81.¹
     He lived at Berlin, Brandenburg, Germany^G.¹

     Fanny Sternberg married Simon Albu on 14 December 1856.¹ She died on 24 October 1912.¹
     From 14 December 1856, her married name became Albu.¹

     Felix Albu was born on 23 May 1859.¹ He was the son of Simon Albu and Fanny Sternberg.¹ He married Evelina Albu, daughter of Solomon Albu, on 18 July 1888.¹ He died on 27 July 1895 at age 36.¹

     Evelina Albu was the daughter of Solomon Albu.¹ She married Felix Albu, son of Simon Albu and Fanny Sternberg, on 18 July 1888.¹ She died on 13 March 1922.¹
