     Marguerite Lucy Sloper was born circa 1929.² She was the daughter of Colonel John Smith Sloper.¹ She married Alastair Gordon Aitchison, son of Commander John Gordon Aitchison and Eveline Betty Sutherland, on 16 February 1955.¹ She died on 17 February 2004.²
     She graduated from London University, London, England^G, with a Bachelor of Surgery (B.S.)¹ She was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons (M.R.C.S.)¹ She was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.)¹ She graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)¹ From 16 February 1955, her married name became Aitchison.¹

     Emily Sarah Aitchison was born on 3 November 1962.¹ She is the daughter of Alastair Gordon Aitchison and Marguerite Lucy Sloper.¹ She married Mark Peter Hugh Bury in September 2016.²

     Timothy John Aitchison was born on 19 July 1928.¹ He was the son of Commander John Gordon Aitchison and Eveline Betty Sutherland.¹ He married Dame June Rosemary Whitfield, daughter of John Herbert Whitfield, on 24 October 1955.¹ He died in 2001.²

     Dame June Rosemary Whitfield was born on 11 November 1925 at Streatham, London, England.² She was the daughter of John Herbert Whitfield.¹ She married Timothy John Aitchison, son of Commander John Gordon Aitchison and Eveline Betty Sutherland, on 24 October 1955.¹ She died on 29 December 2018 at age 93.²
     From 24 October 1955, her married name became Aitchison.¹ She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1985.² She was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award, by the British Comedy Awards in 1994.² She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1998.² She was appointed Dame Commander, Order of the British Empire (D.B.E.) in 2017.²
