Sir Andrew Kerr, 1st Lord Jedburgh1 
He held the office of Heriditary Baillie of Jedbergh Forest.1 He held the office of Gentleman of the Bedchamber in February 1584/85.1 He was appointed Knight before 1604.1 He was created 1st Lord Jedburgh [Scotland] on 2 February 1621/22, with special remainder to his heirs male and successors in the family of Ferniehurst bearing the name and arms of Kerr.1 He lived at Ferniehirst, Midlothian, ScotlandG.

He succeeded as the 3rd Lord Jedburgh [S., 1622] circa 1650, de jure.1 On 24 January 1654 he was served heir male to the Ferniehurst family.1 Like his father, he did not assume the title.1

He succeeded as the 4th Lord Jedburgh [S., 1622] before 1670.1 On 11 July 1670 he got a regrant of his title with remainder, in default of heirs male of his body, to William Kerr, Master of Newbottle.1
