     Isabella Agnew was born on 20 June 1765.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Stair Agnew of Lochnaw, 6th Bt. and Marie Baillie.¹ She married Robert Hathorn Stewart of Physgill.²

     Robert Hathorn Stewart of Physgill was born before 1744.² He married Isabella Agnew, daughter of Sir Stair Agnew of Lochnaw, 6th Bt. and Marie Baillie.²
     He lived at Physgill, Wigtownshire, Scotland^G.²

     Captain John de Courcy Agnew was born on 8 October 1819 at Leswalt, Wigtownshire, Scotland^G.^1,2 He was the son of Sir Andrew Agnew of Lochnaw, 7th Bt. and Madeline Carnegie.¹ He married, firstly, Anne Wauchope, daughter of Reverend David Wauchope and Anne Wauchope, on 30 October 1849.¹ He married, secondly, Patricia Elizabeth Dowbiggin, daughter of William Henry Dowbiggin, on 17 October 1854.¹ He married Patricia Ramsay, daughter of Sir Alexander Ramsay of Balmain, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Elizabeth Maule, on 14 May 1872.¹ He died on 20 September 1916 at age 96.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹

     Anne Wauchope was the daughter of Reverend David Wauchope and Anne Wauchope.^1,2 She married Captain John de Courcy Agnew, son of Sir Andrew Agnew of Lochnaw, 7th Bt. and Madeline Carnegie, on 30 October 1849.¹ She died on 13 July 1852, without issue.¹
     From 30 October 1849, her married name became Agnew.¹

     Reverend David Wauchope was born in 1770.² He was the son of John Wauchope and Anne Margaret Erskine.² He married, firstly, Mary Dick, daughter of Sir William Dick, 4th Bt. and Joanna Douglas, on 2 September 1808 at Newton, Midlothian, Scotland.^2,3 He married, secondly, Anne Wauchope, daughter of Andrew Wauchope of Niddrie and Alicia Baird, on 15 August 1821.² He died on 16 February 1826.²
     He was the Rector at Warkton, Northamptonshire, England^G.² He had son by his first wife (who died young) and another son and daughter by his second wife (who also both died young.)²

     Patricia Elizabeth Dowbiggin was the daughter of William Henry Dowbiggin.¹ She married Captain John de Courcy Agnew, son of Sir Andrew Agnew of Lochnaw, 7th Bt. and Madeline Carnegie, on 17 October 1854.¹ She died on 2 October 1870.¹
     From 17 October 1854, her married name became Agnew.¹
