He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Acheson, of Market Hill [in Clonekearney], co. Armagh [N.S., 1628] on 6 October 1638.1 He held the office of Sheriff of County Tyrone in 1657.1 He held the office of Sheriff of County Armagh in 1657.1 His last will was dated 10 March 1684.
