     Philippe d‘Harcourt, seigneur de Bonnetable et d’Aarschot was born on 6 February 1355 at Château d’Harcourt, Harcourt, Eure, France.1 He was the son of Comte Jean V d‘Harcourt, seigneur de Bonnetable, de Lillebonne, de Brionne, d’Elbeuf et d’Aarschot, vicomte de Châtellerault and Blanche de Ponthieu, comtesse d’Aumale, dame de Montgommery, de Mesle-sur-Sarre, d’Aubigny, de Vignes, de Noyelles, d’Hiermont et de Pontailles.1 He married Jeanne de Tilly, dame de Tilly, de Beaufou, de Beuvron et de La Motte-Cesny in 1374.1 He died in 1403.1
