     Richard Granville Thynne was born on 3 December 1878.¹ He was the son of Reverend Arthur Christopher Thynne and Gwenllian Elizabeth Fanny Isabel Kendall.¹ He married, firstly, Gladys Hill, daughter of William Neave Hill, on 7 June 1911.¹ He married, secondly, Honor Margaret Dunn, daughter of Lt.-Col. Thomas Duncan William Dunn, on 19 March 1921.¹ He and Honor Margaret Dunn were divorced.¹ He died on 29 February 1952 at age 73.¹
     He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Scots Guards.¹

     Gladys Hill was the daughter of William Neave Hill.¹ She married Richard Granville Thynne, son of Reverend Arthur Christopher Thynne and Gwenllian Elizabeth Fanny Isabel Kendall, on 7 June 1911.¹ She died on 28 December 1919.¹
     From 7 June 1911, her married name became Thynne.¹

     Honor Margaret Dunn was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Thomas Duncan William Dunn.¹ She married Richard Granville Thynne, son of Reverend Arthur Christopher Thynne and Gwenllian Elizabeth Fanny Isabel Kendall, on 19 March 1921.¹ She and Richard Granville Thynne were divorced.¹ She died on 30 November 1967.¹
     From 19 March 1921, her married name became Thynne.¹

     Lt.-Col. Thomas Duncan William Dunn was born on 15 October 1846 at Standen Manor, Hungerford, Berkshire, England^G.² He was the son of Maj.-Gen. William Dunn and Margret Duncan Brown. He married Ethel Constance Geraldine Thursby, daughter of Lt.-Col. Richard Hassell Thursby and Alice Ann Doncaster, on 2 October 1889 at St. Thomas’ Church, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.² He died on 22 March 1899 at age 52 at Continental Hotel, Cairo, Egypt^G.² He was buried on 23 March 1899 at Protestant Cemetery, Cairo, Egypt^G.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Hampshire Regiment.¹

     Hugh Edward Thynne was born on 26 March 1881.¹ He was the son of Reverend Arthur Christopher Thynne and Gwenllian Elizabeth Fanny Isabel Kendall.¹ He married Marguerite Hearne, daughter of W. Hearne, in November 1907.¹ He died on 14 January 1952 at age 70.¹
     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.¹ He gained the rank of Temporary Captain in the Royal Engineers.¹

     Marguerite Hearne was the daughter of W. Hearne.¹ She married Hugh Edward Thynne, son of Reverend Arthur Christopher Thynne and Gwenllian Elizabeth Fanny Isabel Kendall, in November 1907.¹ She died on 19 May 1964.¹
     From November 1907, her married name became Thynne.¹

     W. Hearne lived at Buenos Aires, Argentina^G.¹

     Christopher William Granville Thynne was born on 24 February 1910.¹ He was the son of Hugh Edward Thynne and Marguerite Hearne.¹ He married Emilienne Legrain on 2 March 1954.¹ He died in 1990.²
     He fought in the Second World War, with the Australian Forces, where he was wounded.¹

     Emilienne Legrain married, firstly, Leon Lefèvre before 1954.¹ She married, secondly, Christopher William Granville Thynne, son of Hugh Edward Thynne and Marguerite Hearne, on 2 March 1954.¹
     From before 1954, her married name became Lefèvre.¹ From 2 March 1954, her married name became Thynne.¹
