     Charles Leigh Adderley, 2nd Baron Norton was born on 10 March 1846.² He was the son of Charles Bowyer Adderley, 1st Baron Norton and Hon. Julia Anne Eliza Leigh.² He married Caroline Ellen Dixie, daughter of Sir Alexander Beaumont Churchill Dixie, 10th Bt. and Maria Catharine Walters, on 15 December 1870.² He died on 4 December 1926 at age 80.²
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He was Assistant Local Government Board Inspector in 1870.² He was Private Secretary to the President of the Board of Trade between 1874 and 1878.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Warwickshire.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Rutland.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Warwickshire.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Rutland.² He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Norton, of Norton-on-the-Moors, co. Stafford [U.K., 1878] on 28 March 1905.²

     Major John Granville Thynne was born on 28 April 1917.¹ He was the son of George Augustus Carteret Thynne and Hon. Gladys Isabel Annette Adderley.¹ He married, firstly, Marianne Madeleine de Jenner, daughter of Baron John de Jenner, on 19 January 1946.¹ He married, secondly, Yvonne Chudleigh, daughter of Major Cuthbert Augustine Edward Chudleigh, in 1991.² He died on 27 November 2001 at age 84 at Salisbury, Wiltshire, England^G.²
     He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Horse Guards.¹ He lived in 1999 at Hays House, Shaftesbury, Dorset, England^G.¹

     Marianne Madeleine de Jenner was the daughter of Baron John de Jenner.¹ She married Major John Granville Thynne, son of George Augustus Carteret Thynne and Hon. Gladys Isabel Annette Adderley, on 19 January 1946.¹ She died on 20 October 1990.^1,2
     From 19 January 1946, her married name became Thynne.¹

     Baron John de Jenner lived at Berne, Switzerland^G.¹

     Bevil Granville de Jenner Thynne was born on 5 April 1947.¹ He is the son of Major John Granville Thynne and Marianne Madeleine de Jenner.¹ He married Gertrude Dagnie Ekman, daughter of Arvid K. Ekman, in 1970.¹
     He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹

     Gertrude Dagnie Ekman is the daughter of Arvid K. Ekman.¹ She married Bevil Granville de Jenner Thynne, son of Major John Granville Thynne and Marianne Madeleine de Jenner, in 1970.¹
     From 1970, her married name became Thynne.¹

     Arvid K. Ekman lived at Sweden^G.¹

     ChristopherJohn Granville Thynne was born in 1972.¹ He is the son of Bevil Granville de Jenner Thynne and Gertrude Dagnie Ekman.¹

     Richard Charles Granville Thynne was born in 1977.¹ He is the son of Bevil Granville de Jenner Thynne and Gertrude Dagnie Ekman.¹
