     Maurice Thompson, 2nd Baron Haversham was born in 1675.³ He was the son of John Thompson, 1st Baron Haversham and Lady Frances Annesley.¹ He married, firstly, Elizabeth Smith, daughter of John Smith, before 1711.⁴ He married, secondly, Hon. Elizabeth Annesley, daughter of Richard Annesley, 3rd Baron Altham and Dorothy Davy, on 16 August 1737.⁴ He died on 11 April 1745 at London, England^G, without male issue.¹ He was buried on 19 April 1745 at Haversham, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹ His will was proven (by probate) on 11 April 1745.¹
     He was a Page to Sophia, Electress of Hanover.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Bletchingley between 1695 and 1698.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Gatton between 1698 and 1705.¹ He fought in the siege of Namur, where he was wounded.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Haversham, of Haversham, co. Buckingham [E., 1696] on 1 November 1710.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Thompson, of Haversham, co. Buckingham [E., 1673] on 1 November 1710.¹ He held the office of Treasurer of the Excise from 1717 to 1718.⁴
     On his death, all of his titles became extinct.¹

     Elizabeth Smith was the daughter of John Smith.¹ She married Maurice Thompson, 2nd Baron Haversham, son of John Thompson, 1st Baron Haversham and Lady Frances Annesley, before 1711.¹ She died on 21 February 1711/12.¹ She was buried on 29 February 1711/12 at Haversham, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹
     After her marriage, Elizabeth Smith was styled as Baroness Haversham before 1711. From before 1711, her married name became Thompson.¹

     Hon. Elizabeth Annesley was born circa 1699.² She was the daughter of Richard Annesley, 3rd Baron Altham and Dorothy Davy.¹ She married, firstly, William Green before 1737.¹ She married, secondly, Maurice Thompson, 2nd Baron Haversham, son of John Thompson, 1st Baron Haversham and Lady Frances Annesley, on 16 August 1737.¹ She married, thirdly, Fitzwilliam White on 15 February 1746/47 at Lincoln’s Inn Chapel, London, England^G.¹ She married, fourthly, Samuel Ashurst on 12 March 1750/51 at St. Paul’s Cathedral, The City, London, England^G.¹ She died on 5 November 1772.¹ She was buried at Weston Colville, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ Her will was proven (by probate) on 4 May 1773.¹
     From before 1737, her married name became Green.¹ From 16 August 1737, her married name became Thompson.¹ After her marriage, Hon. Elizabeth Annesley was styled as Baroness Haversham on 16 August 1737. From 15 February 1746/47, her married name became White.¹ From 12 March 1750/51, her married name became Ashurst.¹ Her last will was dated 26 January 1769.

     William Green was born before 1722. He married Hon. Elizabeth Annesley, daughter of Richard Annesley, 3rd Baron Altham and Dorothy Davy, before 1737.¹ He died before 1737.¹

     Fitzwilliam White married, secondly, Hon. Elizabeth Annesley, daughter of Richard Annesley, 3rd Baron Altham and Dorothy Davy, on 15 February 1746/47 at Lincoln’s Inn Chapel, London, England^G.¹
     He lived at Louth, Lincolnshire, England^G.¹

     Samuel Ashurst married Hon. Elizabeth Annesley, daughter of Richard Annesley, 3rd Baron Altham and Dorothy Davy, on 12 March 1750/51 at St. Paul’s Cathedral, The City, London, England^G.¹
     He lived at Gray’s Inn, London, England^G.

     Hon. Elizabeth Thompson was the daughter of John Thompson, 1st Baron Haversham and Lady Frances Annesley.^1,2 She married Joseph Grange in 1699.¹ She died after 1704.¹
     From 1699, her married name became Grange.¹
