Ralph Basset1 
He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Basset, of Weldon [E., 1299] before 18 August 1314, de jure.1 On 8 October 1314 the custody of his father’s lands together with his marriage was obtained by Richard de Grey (of Codnor) for a fine of £800.1 On 5 April 1327 he was summoned against the Scots by King Edward III.1
