Charles Lutley Sclater-Booth was born on 6 May 1862.² He was the son of George Sclater-Booth, 1st Baron Basing of Basin Byflete and of Hoddington and Lydia Caroline Birch.¹ He married Ellen Geraldine Jones, daughter of George Jones, on 18 April 1900.² He died on 23 January 1931 at age 68.¹
     He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire.²

     Ellen Geraldine Jones was the daughter of George Jones.¹ She married, firstly, William Tudor Frere before 1900.¹ She married, secondly, Hon. Charles Lutley Sclater-Booth, son of George Sclater-Booth, 1st Baron Basing of Basin Byflete and of Hoddington and Lydia Caroline Birch, on 18 April 1900.² She died on 12 January 1957.²
     From before 1900, her married name became Frere.¹ From 18 April 1900, her married name became Sclater-Booth.¹

     George Jones is the son of John Jones.
     He lived at Mitton Manor, Staffordshire, England^G.¹

     William Tudor Frere married Ellen Geraldine Jones, daughter of George Jones, before 1900.¹ He died before 1900.
     He was a barrister.²

     George Lutley Sclater-Booth, 4th Baron Basing of Basin Byflete and of Hoddington was born on 7 December 1903.¹ He was the son of Hon. Charles Lutley Sclater-Booth and Ellen Geraldine Jones.¹ He married, firstly, Jeannette MacKelvie, daughter of Neil Bruce MacKelvie, on 16 March 1938.¹ He and Jeannette MacKelvie were divorced in 1944.¹ He married, secondly, Cynthia Hardy, daughter of Charles W. Hardy, on 18 July 1951.¹ He died on 18 September 1983 at age 79.¹
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baron Basing of Basing Byflete and of Hoddington, both in co. Southampton [U.K., 1887] on 2 October 1969.¹

     Jeannette MacKelvie was the daughter of Neil Bruce MacKelvie.¹ She married George Lutley Sclater-Booth, 4th Baron Basing of Basin Byflete and of Hoddington, son of Hon. Charles Lutley Sclater-Booth and Ellen Geraldine Jones, on 16 March 1938.¹ She and George Lutley Sclater-Booth, 4th Baron Basing of Basin Byflete and of Hoddington were divorced in 1944.¹ She died on 17 November 1957.¹
     From 16 March 1938, her married name became Sclater-Booth.¹

     Neil Bruce MacKelvie lived at New York, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Cynthia Hardy was the daughter of Charles W. Hardy.¹ She married, firstly, Harold Spurrier Anderson.² She married, secondly, Carl H. Beal before 1951.¹ She married, thirdly, George Lutley Sclater-Booth, 4th Baron Basing of Basin Byflete and of Hoddington, son of Hon. Charles Lutley Sclater-Booth and Ellen Geraldine Jones, on 18 July 1951.¹ She died in 1982.¹
     Her married name became Anderson.² From before 1951, her married name became Beal.¹ From 18 July 1951, her married name became Sclater-Booth.¹ After her marriage, Cynthia Hardy was styled as Baroness Basing of Basing Byflete and of Hoddington on 2 October 1969.

     Carl H. Beal married Cynthia Hardy, daughter of Charles W. Hardy, before 1951.¹ He died before 1951.¹
