Nicholas Barnewall, 3rd Viscount Barnewall of Kingsland1 
He gained the rank of officer in 1688 in the Lord Limerick’s Dragoons, on behalf of King James II.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Barnewall of Kingsland, in the parish of Donabate, co. Dublin [I., 1646] on 1 June 1688.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron of Turvey [I., 1646] on 1 June 1688.1 For his service, he was outlawed, but this was revered under the Treaty of Limerick.1 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.2
