     Fernando de Portugal, Lord of Serpe was born in 1217. He was the son of Afonso II de Bourgogne, Rei de Portugal and Urraca de Castilla.1 He married Sancha de Lara, daughter of Ferdinand de Lara, in 1241.1 He was also reported to have been married in 1243. He died in 1246.1
     He gained the title of Lord of Serpe.1

     Sancha de Lara was born before 1226. She was the daughter of Ferdinand de Lara.1 She married Fernando de Portugal, Lord of Serpe, son of Afonso II de Bourgogne, Rei de Portugal and Urraca de Castilla, in 1241.1 She was also reported to have been married in 1243.

     Sancho II de Bourgogne, Rei de Portugal was born in 1207.1 He was the son of Afonso II de Bourgogne, Rei de Portugal and Urraca de Castilla.1 He married Mencia Lopez de Haro circa 1246. He died in 1248.1
     He succeeded as the Rei Sancho II de Portugal in 1223.1 He was deposed as King of Portugal in 1245.1

     Afonso III de Bourgogne, Rei de Portugal was born in 1210.1 He was the son of Afonso II de Bourgogne, Rei de Portugal and Urraca de Castilla.1 He married, firstly, Matilda de Dammartin, daughter of Reginald de Tree, Count of Dammartin and Ida dAlsace-Vlaanderen, Comtesse de Boulogne, in 1235.1 He and Matilda de Dammartin were divorced in 1245.1 He married, secondly, Beatriz Alfonso de Castilla, daughter of Alfonso X, Rey de Castilla y León, in 1254.1 He died in 1279.1
     He gained the title of Rei Afonso III de Portugal in 1248.1

     Matilda de Dammartin was the daughter of Reginald de Tree, Count of Dammartin and Ida dAlsace-Vlaanderen, Comtesse de Boulogne.1 She married Afonso III de Bourgogne, Rei de Portugal, son of Afonso II de Bourgogne, Rei de Portugal and Urraca de Castilla, in 1235.1 She and Afonso III de Bourgogne, Rei de Portugal were divorced in 1245.1
     After her marriage, Matilda de Dammartin was styled as Comtesse de Bourgogne.

     Beatriz Alfonso de Castilla was born in 1242.1 She was the daughter of Alfonso X, Rey de Castilla y León.1 She married Afonso III de Bourgogne, Rei de Portugal, son of Afonso II de Bourgogne, Rei de Portugal and Urraca de Castilla, in 1254.1 She died in 1308.1 She was also reported to have died in 1303.

Inez de Castro1

     Inez de Castro was born in 1320.1 She was the daughter of Pedro Fernandez de Castro and Beatriz de Portugal.1 She married Pedro I de Bourgogne, Rei de Portugal, son of Afonso IV de Bourgogne, Rei de Portugal and Beatriz de Castilla, in 1345 in a secret marriage. They were remarried in an open ceremony in 1354 at Bragança. She died in 1355, murdered.1
