Commander James Angus Douglas-Hamilton was born on 13 August 1890 at Latimer, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.1,3 He was the son of Venerable Hamilton Anne Douglas-Hamilton and Lillie Bowles.1 He married Joan Mary MacCormac, daughter of Surgn.-Lt. John Sides Davies MacCormac and Genevieve Muriel MacGregor, on 20 January 1938.1 He died on 3 February 1972 at age 81.2
