     Angus ‘Dubh’ Mackay of Strathnaver is the son of Angus ‘Mor’ Mackay.2 He married Elizabeth MacDonald, daughter of Iain Macdonald, Lord of the Isles and Margaret Stewart, before 8 October 1415.1 He died in 1433, killed in action.2
     He was commander of 4,000 men in 1427.2

John de Dunbar, 1st Earl of Moray1

     John de Dunbar, 1st Earl of Moray was the son of Sir Patrick Dunbar and Isabel Randolph.2 He married Marjorie Stewart, daughter of Robert II Stewart, King of Scotland and Elizabeth Mure of Rowallan, after 11 July 1371, by dispensation.1 He died before 15 February 1392 at York, Yorkshire, EnglandG, from injuries sustained in a tournament where he was unhorsed by the Earl Marshal of England.3
     He was created 1st Earl of Moray [Scotland] on 9 March 1371/72.3 He fought in the Battle of Otterburn in 1388.3

     Thomas de Dunbar, 2nd Earl of Moray was the son of John de Dunbar, 1st Earl of Moray and Marjorie Stewart.2 He married Margaret (?) before February 1391/92.1 He died between 1415 and 1422.2
     He held the office of Sheriff of Inverness before 1392.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Erl of Moray [S., 1372] circa February 1391/92.1 He fought in the Battle of Homildon Hill in 1402, where he was captured by the English.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Banff in 1405.1 In 1405 he was released by the English.1
