Sir Lawrence Palk, 3rd Bt.1 
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 29 January 1812.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Palk, of Haldon House, in Haldon, co. Devon [G.B., 1782] on 20 June 1813.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ashburton between 1818 and 1831.1
