Sir Pierson John Dixon1 

Sir Pierson John Dixon was born on 13 November 1904.3 He was the son of Pierson John Dixon.3 He married Alexandra Ismene Atchley, daughter of Shirley Clifford Atchley, in 1928.3 He died on 22 April 1965 at age 60.3
He was educated at Bedford College, Bedford, Bedfordshire, EnglandG.3 He was educated at Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.3 He was Principal Private Secretary to the Foreign Secretary between 1943 and 1948.3 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1948.1 He held the office of Ambassador to Czechoslovakia between 1948 and 1950.3 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1950.3 He held the office of Deputy Under-Secretary of State, Foreign Office between 1950 and 1954.3 He held the office of Permnenet Representative of the U.K. to the United Nations between 1954 and 1960.3 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.) in 1957.1 He held the office of Ambassador to France between 1960 and 1964.3
