     From 2 July 1878, her married name became Bond.¹

     William Henry Bond married Mary Caroline Meysey-Thompson, daughter of Sir Harry Stephen Meysey-Thompson, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Anne Croft, on 2 July 1878.¹ He died on 11 January 1935.¹
     He lived at Tyneham, Dorset, England.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Scots Regiment.¹

     Major Pieter Voltelyn Graham van der Byl was born on 21 February 1889 at Caledon, Cape Province, South Africa.¹ He married Joyce Clare Fleming, daughter of Lt.-Col. Samuel Fleming and Elizabeth Knox Clare Ball, in 1922.¹ He died on 21 January 1975 at age 85 at Muizenberg, Cape Province, South Africa.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹

     Joyce Clare Fleming is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Samuel Fleming and Elizabeth Knox Clare Ball.¹ She married Major Pieter Voltelyn Graham van der Byl in 1922.¹
